    A system of exercises using special apparatus, designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, and posture, and enhance mental awareness provided by a qualified Pilates Instructor.

    Under CBHS Corporate Health Wellness Benefits, members can claim towards Gym Membership, Personal Training, Yoga and Pilates when the services are received as part of a Health Management Program designed to improve or reduce a specific health or medical condition. The Health Management Program Authorisation (HMPA) form can be downloaded here.

    Pilates instruction may also be conducted by a Physiotherapist, please see physiotherapy.

    A pre-existing condition is an ailment or illness for which the signs or symptoms were evident up to 6 months before a person became insured by a policy. It is the opinion of the CBHS Corporate Health-appointed doctor that determines whether the signs or symptoms were in existence – that doctor, however, will have regard to any information provided by the member’s doctor.

    Members must wait 12 months to be covered for pre-existing condition where they upgrade their cover.
